Hi everyone,

I'm encountering an issue with Proxmox Virtual Environment and could use some help. I'm getting the following error message when attempting to connect to a VM's console:

Error: command '/bin/vncviewer -w 10 c/usr/sbin/qm vncproxy 1022/dev/null' failed: exit code 1
Connection: Connection timed out

somebody help me please

Before that though, any reason you are still running PVE 3.1 when that one has been EOL since feb 2017?

Having a quick look around, it might be an SSL-issue [1] that's no longer supported (already back in 2018 of that post)

Also if you want to upgrade, you'll have to do so in steps [2] - [6], there is no direct route, it might even be quicker to backup all your VM's and then re-install at 8 and restoring it.
