Proxmox & TrueNAS best protocol?

I am running a proxmox cluster, which I have connected with my TrueNAS server over a 10Gbps ethernet, TrueNAS is hosting my files over NFS sharing protocol, now Is all this a good configuration if I want to move production grade VMs onto this?

Please share if there is anything I can do to bring improvements to my setup.
