Hello all! I'm trying to install Proxmox 1.8 to the server based on Supermicro X8DT3-F with 6x 300SAS drives. When I start installation I got a window with 'no hard disc found'. What am I doing wrong? Many thanks.

do you have a raid controller, how are the disk attached, what did you specify in the raid bios?

Like tom said, i think you should go in the Raid card Bios.

At the boot of your server, you should see the name of your card and a text with "Press Ctrl + M to enter configuration". Or something like that with whatever is the key combinaison.

Press those key and there, define 1 or more Volume in the raid type you want. Initialize. And then Save and quit.

Boot on the Proxmox installation and you should see your "Disk" or more exactly, your Volume.
