Hi, guys,

i think i have a small problem in my configuration and don't know how to make it better.
Everything works as it should, but I have "more" memory than I actually have.
I have set up a ZFS pool "zfs_storage" and created several datasets there.

I added these in proxmox as a directory.

But proxmox now summarized the free memory of all directories although it is always the same.

What have I done wrong?

Thank you

But then how can I monitor my memory?

With external monitoring that ensures you're monitoring what you want. PVE cannot know what you want.
e.g. you're using ZFS so you can manually set quota for a specific dataset so you have to monitor that. You can also have to monitor your pool usage. ZFS gets (as all other filesystems) slower after 80% usage and will eventually stop working at about 93% usage.

Thanks.

That helps me.

Do you know a solution for monitoring?

Since this is only a home server, it should be free.
