Hi guys!
Last week i installed some Proxmox on my bare-metal servers. The servers have 16 CPU thread, 32 GB of RAM and 2x 250GB SSD. I use ZFS RAID1!
On every Proxmox host i have 1 VM with 16 CPU, 80 GB SSD and 16GB of RAM. My problem is, when i have a higher IO operation(for example a docker pull and compose up -d), the OOM Killer kills the VM. I didn't have special settings, memory balloning is off. Have you any suggestion for tihs problem? Have any settings to restart the VM after OOM-Killer kills that?(it is just on emergency, if it kills on night) Or what can i do in this situation?
Thank you very much any suggestion!
