[SOLVED] Proxmox login failed please try again fresh installation

Hello guys,
I have Dell PC core i7 16 gb ram I installed proxmox 8.2 on it after installation I tried to access the web gui from my second pc but I get login failed please try again, I can login in on the pc have proxmox installed successfully but web gui I can't, it's fresh installation.
What do you think guys the reason and the solution?

You make it sound like login to the Proxmox host console (physical keyboard and display) works but please confirm. Does SSH from the second PC to the Proxmox host also work?
Do you use the username root and the realm Linux PAM standard authentication? Do you use a non-US-querty keyboard layout?.

Hi leesteken, Yes it's login issue on web gui and SSH get acess denied, Proxmox host I use English U.S keyboard and secand PC as well, Yes I use root as user name and Linux PAM standard authentication.

Can you login to the host console using a physical keyboard and display connected to the Proxmox host? What is the output of ip a and cat /etc/network/interfaces?

I get login failed

So web browser finds the page - but login fails.

and SSH get acess denied

So again - you reach the server but your password gets refused.

To confirm server is correctly connected on its IP; try pinging it on its allotted IP address.

Assuming both of the above are correct, this is almost certainly a user/password key-entry problem.

So maybe the CAPS/SHIFT are/were locked at the time of setup/login?
Wrong Keyboard layout on one of the machines?

Explore the possibilities (there are many) & you will get it working.
