Good day,
I just configured LDAP Authentication for our Proxmox server. It works awesome.
However, our organization uses weird user names, consisting of some abbreviation and a random number.
So now I end up with the synced users in one large list, and it is not so straightforward to find a particular user in the list.

Is it somehow possible that the LDAP Sync fills out the First / Last name of each person? It already fills out the Email address nicely, so it would be awesome if it could also fill in the name. One could then more easily identify a particular person in the list.

OK I just found it out myself:

In
Code:
/etc/pve/domains.cfg
one can edit the
Code:
sync_attributes
.
Now I still have the fun issue with umlauts. For example, ü is synchronized as ü. I always LOVE to see this. -_-
