Proxmox is that if you can use it in a production environment?

we are looking for a solution to virtualize multiple Windows and Linux servers. I know, Linux is no problem - but Windows Server 2008? Is here someone who uses this in a productive environment?

under certified Hardware i see only a HP and IBM Server. Can we use Dell too?

I'm using a number of Dell Servers, a couple of PE1950s and a PE860, i'm looking at pulling in a couple of SC1425s too not had any problems installing on any hardware.
