[SOLVED] Proxmox installation and update fails

Hello,

I have a server with 32 GB RAM 2 x 500gb SSD one CPU and I am trying to install and update Proxmox. I have installed Proxmox with Raid1 ZFS.

I have tried it several times and with two different systems and the problem must come from the updates.

I install fresh proxmox-ve_8.0-2 and activate my license and after the update and restart only a white blinking cursor is displayed.

The grub loader still appears and

booting Proxmox VE GNU/Linux
Loading Linux 6.5.11-6-pve
Loading initial ramdisk

and then only a white flashing cursor.

does anyone have an idea what this could be?

you need to disable x2APIC in BIOS under processor configuration it works fine with the new kernel.
