Hi.
I have an host with two public IP address, the first is the proxmox host and the second assigned to specified Mac address from hetzner datacenter.
In the configuration firewall at cluster level only the host public IP is configured in settings, the second is configured directly on a firewall VM that act as router for a virtual lan.
Now I'm having performance issue with the firewall VM and I want to power off the VM firewall and assign the public IP directly to the VM behind the firewall.
I can simply assign the public IP to VM and set rules on the VM proxmox firewall options in the control panel?
And.. I can assign instead the VM to the vmbr0 proxmox host public IP on a specified port? If yes, Wich IP I need to set on the vps if the public first is owned by proxmox host?
In any case I prefer to use the second public IP. Thank you.
