Back when we were running PVE 4.3, I had received some advice not to run HA when running a hyper converged CEPH cluster because of the effects of Fencing and HA on a CEPH cluster. Now that we are running 5.1 and CEPH is now a first class citizen, I wanted to know if this is still a recommendation to follow or can we now safely turn on HA on a cluster that is using CEPH.

In our docs, we make use of Ceph for a hyper converged setup, there should be no problem to also use HA. But as always, it has to be taken special care of the cluster if you want to use HA (eg. proper fencing, monitoring, etc). https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/chapter-pveceph.html
