proxmox HA on shared SAN storage

Are there any changes in version 6? I want to buy a cheap SAN or NAS as shared storage? It makes sense?
I want 2 node HA cluster. snapshots are desirable to have

You need at least 3 nodes for HA. Also, for HA, you want a "reliable" storage (instead of a "cheap" one).
