Any progress on getting proxmox download mirrors setup? I'm located in New Zealand on a major backbone and downloading images from download.proxmox.com is really painful.

It took me three days to download the Drupal appliance as it the download connect kept timing out and when it was loading, it was getting a download rate of <10KB/s.

Our server is located in a high performance server house (in Germany) so this should not happen - maybe you should ask your provider why the connection to Europe is so bad?

You can also access the appliances via ftp.
ftp://pve.proxmox.com/appliances/

Maybe using a ftp client (with resume option) would be the better choice for you (and then upload manually to your Proxmox VE).

Mirrors: we plan to setup mirrors but this will take some time (as we have to adapt the appliance downloader first)
