Proxmox CT Login Not working?

When i create a CT install CentOS7 and use novnc to login, i do:
root
password
but it keeps saying password is incorrect when i even copied and pasted it

should work, do you run latest version? basically I prefer xterm.js instead of novnc

as a workaround, do a "pct enter" from the host.

It still does the same thing.... and im running Proxmox V6

Just tried here with our latest CentOS 7 template (see also http://download.proxmox.com/images/system/) - no issue.

Please post your:

> pveversion -v

and your CT config:

> pct config CTID

Do you use a complex password? If yes, provide a similar example.
