Proxmox cluster with all nodes in the same data center and where each node has a public IP

I know that there has been many different discussions on here about deploying Proxmox clusters where each node is in a different location / different data center but I want to know how I could get multiple nodes into a cluster where each node has a public IP but the latency between each node is less than 1ms since all the nodes are in the same data center but getting private IP addresses is not possible.


I can give any information and might be willing to try various things but I don't want to join a node onto the Proxmox cluster in a manner that isn't safe or secure.
 
I figured that was the best approach but I kept hearing about problems with L3 solutions and Corosync. I thought WireGuard was an L3 thing.
I can configure it to act almost like a L2 network but it's not officially
 
Why is it not possible? Set up a router with your servers behind it. We have private IPs for our equipment and public for the VMs. Behind a router/firewall of course.

I don't have access to the data center or the physical machines. I just have access to the IPMI and the management interfaces of proxmox.

You can still do a GRE-Tunnel inside WG :D
