Hello,

I'm looking Solution PVE storage types.
Setup Proxmox Cluster(HA) with SAN Storage Fibre Channel.

I Setup LVM Storage types missing problem : Doesn't over-commit in the LVM space VM.
I Setup LVM-THin Storage types missing problem : Doesn't Migration VM

What should i use Storage types?

Sorry, My English isn't that good.

Hi,

you have to use LVM because Thin-LVM is not working as shared storage.
Only LVM can be used as shared Storage on FC.
So you can't overcommit.

As @wolfgang already said, you must use LVM (without thin) in a FC setup.

We played around with various cluster filesystem solutions to have a file-based storage and wanted to use QCOW2, snapshots, over-committing and such, but there was, unfortunately, no viable solution for this.
