I have a KVM host - Fedora 31 with about 10 vm's.
They are old Windows - XP, Server 2003R2 & 2008 (not R2).

I'm thinking I should move them over to Proxmox & use the backup feature to backup the vm's.

Good idea or not?
Currently, the vm's have no backup!

The backup utility that is part of Proxmox VE (vzdump) runs full backups of the VM from outside the VM. It does not know or care what is installed in the VM :)
