Hi,

Can someone tell me if there is any possibility to use Proxmox as master or slave? In a few words. I want to install proxmox management interface with no vitrualization on VPS1 to manage VMs which are running on Dedicaded1 and Dedicated2.
Is that possible to do with proxmox? Similar feature can be found in SolusVM.
Thanks

So how can I manage may cluster (e.g. with 3 servers), when 1 server will go down but in the mean time I have its backup? What I want is to manage all my nodes from one location. e.g. if I have 1 node 10.24.1.2 and I want to manage nodes 10.24.1.5, 10.24.1.6 etc.

Hello,

When nodes are clustered together you can manage all online nodes from any IP, it does not matter which IP/Server you access and log into, as long as it's online it will work. When you log into a valid server then any servers that are offline will show in red until they are brought back online.

There is no master/slave - all are equal.

Hope this helps,

Thanks.

Hi,

Thank you guys. And my last question. There is any support of external VNC for openvz, kvm and xen? So I want to deploy proxmox and give my users access to thier VMs. Also, in the top left corner I see proxmox logo. Can it be somehow hided or changed to another logo? Sorry for the dummy questions. But I have a less of time to chose platform. I'm thinking about Proxmox, Hyper-V, SolusVM and ESXi.
Thanks
