Proxmox 5.* on Debian jessie

Hi!
Is it possible to install Proxmox 5 but on Debian jessie? Or only with upgrade to stretch?
What if I just install proxmox-ve package from stretch repo and do not install stretch system updates and continue using jessie ?

PVE 5 is Debian Stretch based, it is not compatible with Debian Jessie.
