Proxmox 2.0 Installation Disk Utilization - where is the rest of my storage?

Can someone shed some light on how Proxmox utilizes the disk space at installation?

- I start with a 445GB RAID 10 storage,
- set pve root to use 45GB at installation
- swap ends up being total memory 24GB (does swap take actual physical extra space?)

And I end up with pve local storage of only 354GB.

445 GB minus 45GB is 400GB. Where is the rest of my storage?
