Proxmox 1.4 installation freeze on amd-opeteron-2212

I couldn't install proxmox ve 1.4 beta2 or beta1 on an amd-opetron-2212 dual core with raid controler areca.
I very surprise because proxmox is based on last debian??
Someby have some feedback about this hardware.

Please give exact details about your hardware and your problem.

How did you configure the raid volume (raid volume size?)?

so it is an assembled server with tow Dual-Core AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 2214 HE , 8Go RAM 2 x 172 Go Disk in RAID 1, the raid controler is a SATA ARC-1212 ( areca controler )

Theire linux driver does not include a driver for ARC-1212, at least I can't find it. You verified that it works with debian lenny (what kernel version)?

Hello In fact the kernel versio is 2.6.24-8-pve.
But If the driver are not include in the kernel can I add as un boot driver ?
Somebody know how to in proxmox add a boot driver ?

I can compile it for you an include it to the CD - but first I need to find a working driver for 2.6.24 - I tried to backport from 2.6.26 but failed.

If you you compile for me I will be very very happy because I can't change my hardware and I've 3 servers like that I need to install under proxmox.
Proxmox is really a good product , I wantg convert all my ESX server to proxmox performance is better with openVZ or KVM.

Unfortunelety I did a test on my server and the installation freeze again after text consol loading filesystem drivers ! Do you really thing is because the proxmox doesn't discover the controller ?

My serever is inside a data center I'll will see tomorrow, but I remender that any keys show something so I don't thing crtl + alt F2 show messages but I will test tomorrow and give you the result.

Also try to run the installer in debug mode (simple type 'debug' at the boot prompt). Then you will get a console at different stages (use CTRL-D to continue install). Maybe that gives you a hint.
