Has anyone successfully installed a ceph cluster with the latest version of PVE 4.4?

I am trying an installation, but no success. On creation of ceph-mon the result is

# pveceph createmon
no monitors specified to connect to.
rados_connect failed - No such file or directory

All other commands from https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Ceph_Server are executed without error.

Is there a bug? Or is it the wrong way?

- first install PVE with ISO installer 4.4-eb2d6f1e-2
- configure network settings
- update packages (no subscription)
- create cluster
- install ceph
- init ceph

On a local test system i skipped the step with "apt-get dist-upgrade" and installed ceph hammer. In this case ceph-mon could be created.

we just uploaded a new pve-manager (pve-manager_4.4-18_amd64.deb) to pvetest repository, including a fix for this problem.

Hello,

thanks for the bug fix.
But until now the pvetest repository contains only version 4.4-17.
