Problem with snmp and openvz

Hi

I just installed a debian os within a openvz container.
Installed and configured snmpd but it seems that the service stops after a couple of minutes....

Cacti gives an snmp error, i restart/start snmpd on the vps and it works again but just for a couple of minutes then it there is an snmp error again in cacti.

Any idea's?

I have the same problem with CentOS openvz container - after few minutes " service snmpd status = snmpd dead but pid file exists". I have build latest snmp even, but still the same. Any news about this issue?
P.S. I never faced this with KVM
