Problem with Hotplug

Hi, I am trying to create a test machine with 62GB of RAM with the hotplug option enabled, but when I start the VM, I get this error:

TASK ERROR: memory size (63488) must be aligned to 2048 for hotplugging

The host has 125GB in total

Is there a restriction in KVM/QEMU that prevents the use of hotplug?

Yes. the restriction is that the memory must be aligned to 2048. Try 60G or 64G
