Problem migrating Openvz from 1.6 to 1.7 Server

When I migrate, from web console, an OpenVZ app running Joomla 1.5 from a server running Proxmox 1.6 (proxmox-ve-2.6.32: 1.6-24) to other running Proxmox 1.7 (proxmox-ve-2.6.32: 1.7-30), the Mysql included doesn't start on boot , i started it manually and works, previously to the migration it starts automatically on Boot. What could be wrong?

OpenVZ (live)migration works stable in our 2.6.18 kernel branch. So think of changing your kernel branch, see http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Proxmox_VE_Kernel

The migration was not live, I stopped the appliance and then made the migration.

You mean to downgrade the 1.6 from 2.6.32 to 2.6.18, then do the migration? Could be safe to migrate the machine to 1.7?

I'm doing this migration because the 1.6 server is the master, and I'd like to promote it to version 1.7, so for security I first try begin to migrate hosted servers to a new machine with latest version of Proxmox 1.7, but now I'm not sure of doing that. it's safe? could be possible to go back?

you cannot migrate between different version. means you cannot migrate from 1.6 to 1.7, upgrade first.
if you are unsure you should have a valid backup as always.
