Good friends, I am new to the issue of proxmox, I want to install it on an HPE Proliant DL160 server with 02 Discs of 1T, to which I create a RAID1 through the BIOS Driver.

The problem starts when I install the Proxmox, First it does not find the Raid that I believe, it asks me to create my own RAID by the Installer, I try it and it does not work for me.

Try to install it in 01 Disk only and then reset and select the installation of the Promox does not load anything.

Someone who can help me with this problem

Thank you very much and greetings

I do not know the DL160, but this sounds like one of those S-ATA Raid Controllers which are fakes.

It is nothing than a software raid with some bios intervention. Probably Adaptec or LSI fake on Intel S-ATA controller?
Those are not very well supported in linux.

Try to disable this crap in the bios and create a ZFS Mirror on the disks.

Me pasa casi lo mismo en Proliant160 gen10, PROMOX
no me reconoce el RAID 5 q esta establecido en la BIOS !!!
