Postfix reinstallation

Hello on proxmox 6.2 how I can remove and reinstall postfix, I accidentally deleted the .db files, the service no longer works for me even after restarting.

try the following:

dpkg-reconfigure postfix

if this does not work you can completly wipe it and reinstall it with:

apt purge postfix
apt install postfix

strange when I send command
echo "Test mail from postfix" | mail -s "Test Postfix" test@test.com

there is this error:
-bash: mail: command not found

> apt-get install mailutils
