Hi all,
I have to use another system to install proxmox because my current motherboard does not want to cooperate...
This messes up some of the NIC configuration and the naming because I have more/less nics on the eventual host system.
Is it possible to rerun the scipt that proxmox uses to configure the NIC interfaces after install?
I know you can edit /etc/network/interfaces and add them there but I have 2 onboard NICs and 2x dual gb nics on separate cards. It turns out to be a huge PITA to figure out what NIC corresponds to what port and the names tend to change when adding/removing the PCIe cards...
The goal is to use the two onboard NICS respectively for the GUI and for the WAN for PFsense.
The others on the PCIe cards would be for the webserver and pfsense routing and several other VM's.
Thx for any feedback!
K.
