pls help me how to install proxmox not based on debian i want proxmox based on ubuntu how to get it?

The Proxmox Linux kernel is based on Ubuntu's one (instead of Debian). If you want almost the same kernel as Ubuntu 25.04 then install the optional 6.14 kernel version: https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/o...e-8-available-on-test-no-subscription.164497/
The userland of Proxmox is based on Debian 12 and you'll either have to do the work or pay someone to spend a lot of time to rebase Promxox sources on Ubuntu userland. Can you explain what you want to achieve? Maybe someone here knows a different and easier way.

EDIT: Not exactly Ubuntu but people have installed Linux Mint packages (Mint is based on Ubuntu but they also have a variant based on Debian) on Proxmox: https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/developer-workstation-proxmox-ve-8-with-cinnamon-lmde6.133736/

What do you wann to achieve? If you want to run vms on an Ubuntu Desktop something like virt-manager or VirtualBox might be a a better Option.

Or use Incus or Lxd, both have a similiar usecase like ProxmoxVE and are available for Ubuntu Desktop and Server.
In any case people won't do a major work live porting PVE to Ubuntu for free. My impression is that you underestimate the amount of work this would need.

And neither ProxmoxVE nor Incus/LXD are for Linux/Sysadmin novices.

I would think about which components from an Ubuntu system you want. Any packages from Ubuntu that are open source can always be built and installed on top of Proxmox itself.
