    Hello

I've been looking for the reason for the slowness of my Proxmox server but I have not been able to detect the problem.

I have an HP DL160 server with 2 Intel Xeon processors, 32GB RAM DDR4 and 4 4TB hard drives in RAIDZ-1 ZFS (10TB Storagen in local-zfs)

I have installed 3 VMs: 1 Ubuntu (File Server), 1 Win 7 Pro, 1 WS2012 Std. My problem happens when any VM performs file transfer (Ex.: 5GB ) in network. The Processors exceed their capacity and all processes are very slow:

I have done several tests with the VMs but in all cases when data is being copied to the local-zfs, in several cases the network goes down

This is a image of Proxmox without performing data transfer:

Any ideas to detect and solve my problem?

    Thanks very much!

Do you have memory Ballooning enabled for your Windows VM by any chance?

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

    Thanks for your answer!

I do not have ballooning in the VM enabled ...

As a test there is only 1 VM on and try to transfer 1 file of 4.5GB but again Proxmox and the network fell ...
