I have a proxmox 6.4-12 host, and several vms. I can do the hard disk passthrough wit the other vms, ( current debian) but unable to
on a centos6 vm, any ideas why ? I get the following error.

Code:
mount /dev/sdb /tempz
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sdb,
missing codepage or helper program, or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
       dmesg | tail or so

/dev/sdb is the pass through disk

thanks kindly

both system are past date and even dead. just install prox newer version or latest v6 into a usb stick and it will work. i did have c6 hdd pass fine, but newer version do help.

proxmox 6.4 is considered old now, ok
there is a reason the centos has to be version 6, I m well aware of its age
