Thank you for answering . It is thin. I'm trying with a live distro and I try to run a lvresize --resizefs -L 30G /dev/ubuntu...... We'll seeIf the storage is thin and the virtual disk inside the backup is not full, then maybe it will work. Shrinking a virtual disk is tricky as many threads on the forum will show you.
Thanks Fabian, but I solved it differently. I created a new VM and restored the app backup. Anyway thank youyeah, shrinking is dangerous, and thus something you need to do manually.
