ive got an off prem PBS sync that i just realized I let fill with out setting gc quotas.

its a stupid simple box, just a cheap sata SSD and a single 8tb hdd
sda and sdb respectively

the little ssd runs the os and the data store is on the big rusty thing.

gc/prune didnt seem to do anything before or after a reboot so i hit shell and did an rm inside the mount point... still full
so i thought i went nuclear and told gdisk to wipe it

yet the web interface still tells me my drive is full. what am i missing here? I see all ive succeeded in doing is some how PBS thinks i have 18EB vs 8Tb. I made it worse lol

so I ran gdisk put an ext 4 back on it and all it does is report a different size used

where is it actually storing what im assuming is meta data keeping it thinking its full?

the usage is just what is returned by statfs on the datastore path.. maybe double check what is mounted there? how is your storage setup in general? maybe provide /etc/proxmox-backup/datastore.cfg and the output of "mount" and "df -h"..
