Do these drivers still need to be installed when migrating a Windows VMWare VM to 1.3? More generally, do the instructions in the VMWare to Proxmox VE Howto still apply?

For best stability use e1000. But the KVM team is working to release a new driver package, including virtio network AND block drivers for windows.

I expect these drivers in a few months, would be interesting under which license they will be released ...
