Hi,
just try to upgrade pve-enterprise on some nodes.

On some of them I got following error messages:
Code:
root@proxmox2:~# apt-get upgrade
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following packages will be upgraded:
  bind9-host dnsutils libbind9-80 libdns88 libisc84 libisccc80 libisccfg82 liblwres80 libwmf0.2-7 linux-libc-dev proxmox-ve-2.6.32 pve-cluster
  pve-kernel-2.6.32-39-pve
13 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 38.9 MB of archives.
After this operation, 91.1 kB disk space will be freed.

WARNING: The following packages cannot be authenticated!
  pve-kernel-2.6.32-39-pve proxmox-ve-2.6.32 pve-cluster
Install these packages without verification [y/N]?
But the key is on the hosts the same:
Code:
apt-key list
/etc/apt/trusted.gpg
--------------------
pub 1024D/9887F95A 2008-10-28
uid Proxmox Release Key <proxmox-release@proxmox.com>
sub 2048g/A87A1B00 2008-10-28
...
What's wrong with the package, and why this happens not on all nodes?

Udo

Hi,

I got the same error:

adding
Code:
--fix-missing

doesn't help.

Any suggestions?

Peter

Could you please provide the full output of `apt-get update` as well?
It would seem as though it failed to download the 'Release.gpg' file.

If you see a 'Get' line for the enterprise pve Release.gpg line then also add the output of the next `apt-get upgrade` run if it fails.
If it's a 'Hit' line, try removing /var/lib/apt/lists/ and try again.
If it's an 'Ign' line on the other hand, check if there are any error outputs available. If not we'll need to investigate further.

Wrong timing, or what happens?

Udo

IGN lines happen in some error cases when apt doesn't deem them problematic enough to spit out a meaningful error message that could actually be helpful in debugging the problem.
Unfortunately it's hard to debug a problem that we cannot reproduce. :-/
We'll keep checking. If it happens again, any information about the connection could help. (Eg. ping the enterprise.proxmox.com server for a while and check its IP address, check the certificate (`gnutls-cli -p 443 enterprise.proxmox.com` to see it on the console), check the local system date (though a date issue would result in either a certificate error or a HIT line, not an IGN line...))
The timing coincided with some network connection issues we experienced in the morning, but with our current information these two issues don't immediately seem to be related, but can't rule it out either.
