Is there a native way in Proxmox Mail Gateway to do outgoing LDAP auth?

Or do I have to set it up manually in Postfix?

Do you mean sending mail via smtps or submission port?

I don't understand the question.

I believe, submission would be the right way to realize that. I would welcome, if PMG could also be used as "mail system" as it would make learning spam and ham easier and maybe introduce a new product, which makes much sense in combination with PMG: a mail archive. Maybe combined with CipherMail features, it would be a complete mail security suite.

You must manually enable it in Postfix
