All,

I'm currently running 14 local drives in my ProxMox VE system, they are running of a 16 port HighPoint RR2740 .
While this is 'fakeRAID' in the strickest sence, it is RAID0/1/10/5/50/6/60 using the HighPoint driver and webgui.
Its what HighPoint calls 'hardware assisted RAID'.

Problem is, the drivers are not really supported well by HighPoint, so, I'm looking for a replacement.
I'm looking for a single card with at least 16 ports.

I found the LSI MegaRAID 9260 16i, but I'm not sure how supported these are in RAID mode.
Can anyone shed a light on using the LSI cards in RAID mode in Linux / ProxMox VE ?
Perhaps any other suggestions for other cards ?
