Hi
I have a empty test cluster in which 4 nodes are ceph. PVE 7.0-1 + Ceph pacific
The setup is: 4 identical nodes
1x Xeon cpu
32GB DDR4 ECC
2x 1Gb, 2x 10Gb
1x system HDD, 2x 16TB OSD HDD, 1x 1TB SSD WAL enterprise class
8 port 10G deidcated switch for ceph backend
8 port 10G switch cluster public (+ 2nd linked switch 48x1G + 2x 10G )
ALL the hardware is NEW
I had problems since the initial setup without any pools or data. OSD take turns in reporting slow ops.
The problem now is:
I out+stopped all osd but the GUI reports 1 host/2 osd as UP but there is no osd daemon runing on that host.
I don't have any pools or pg. No matter how i try to stop the remaining OSD they are reported as running.
Any suggestions?
