osd.0 startet nicht

Hallo,

So nun muß ich mich doch outen. Ich hatte eben eine gruslige Erfahrung gemacht. Nach dem gestrigen Update von Proxmox 5.4 auf 6.0 und Ceph Update von Luminous nach Nautilus habe ich heute eine Node neugestartet (gestern im übrigen auch innerhalb des Updates auf Buster, aber nicht nach dem Ceph Update) und dabei kam dann der OSD für diese Node nicht mehr hoch. Nach etwas suchen und probieren kam raus das die entsprechende Partition nicht unter /var/lib/ceph/osd/osd-0 eingebunden war.
Ich finde zum mount nichts in der fstab, wie und wo steht das mounten für die Partition und wieso ging es unter Proxmox 5.4 ohne Probleme?

Warum genau sda4? OSD haben im Normalfall nur zwei Partitionen oder LVs wenn mit Nautilus erstellt.
 
Das ganze wurde vor 1,5 Jahren erstellt. Es sind kleine Tischrechner mit nur Platz für eine SSD. Ist halt alles Privat.

Versuch nochmals mit dem ceph-volume.

Da fehlt das Partitions Label für Ceph. Am besten die OSD zerstören und neu erstellen, falls möglich.

Hier ist "" und da sollte etwas drinnen stehen. Wie gesagt, am einfachsten die OSD neu machen.
 
Vermelde Vollzug. Hat alles super geklappt.

Über das Webfrontend das OSD Volume auf out setzen. Warten bis alle Daten auf die anderen OSD Volumes kopiert wurden. Danach:

systemctl stop ceph-osd@0
umount /var/lib/ceph/osd/osd.0
ceph osd crush remove osd.0
ceph auth del osd.0

Danach kann man dann mittels

ceph-volume lvm create --data /dev/sda4
Ein neues OSD Volume anlegen.
