openwswitch on proxmox

Hello,

In the latest version of proxmox we see the possibility of using openvswitch bridges instead of the traditional linux bridge, I would like to install a new proxmox cluster entirely under Open vSwitch.

Is the Open vSwitch project now well proven in production ?

The possibility of passing several VLANs through an Open vSwitch bridge interests me a lot.

openswitch is available on proxmox since years (3.X).

they are no performance advantage of using it (and sometimes, users have reported some bugs/errors/stability).

you can also use multiple vlans with vlan aware bridge.
