OpenVC containers on remote NFS enabled NAS

I have been reading articles in the forum that say you can not have multiple storages for OpenVC containers. Is this correct?

I am going to install the Proxmox iso on a dedicated server at a hosting company using KVM and remote install.

My setup will be 2 servers and 1 NAS that support NFS. I would like to install all containers on the NAS. How do I do this?

I have done some test installs using a single server and run into some problems as well. I installed the Proxmox iso (v1.8) to the remote servers SSD drive and made a raid 1 of 2x1TB drives and enabled it successfully in the web GUI. But I could not get OpenVC containers to use it (I know about the workaround for this). How can I change the default OpenVC storage.

In my setup I need to be able to migrate all containers between the servers and be able to add more servers on demand. My main usage will be Templates/OpenVC VM's.

OpenVZ does not support NFS (only local ext3 storage).

How is then possible to migrate in a cloud with lets say 10 server nodes? Are users moving away from OpenVZ and the templates and using KVM?

what do you mean with a "cloud"? and no, users do not move away from OpenVZ, most are using both, depends on the needs.

You answered my question, thanks! Is it easy to move the OpenVZ container from a master to a new master ore a node later on? Is the backups so reliable that I can move them around and they will just work (when IP/DNS info is changed)?

vzdump is reliable. but as with all backup/restore solutions, you should do regularly testing.
