I've been trying to get this topology to work: http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Open_vS...8STP.29_-_1Gbps_uplink.2C_10Gbps_interconnect

However, I'm having issues where the proxmox to proxmox 10G interconnects aren't showing up as STP_BLOCK on all interfaces that it should, some are in STP_FORWARD which is causing loops.

The 1G connections back to the core switches all appear to be proper.

Currently I'm only using Proxmox v3.4, so maybe there is some odd problem in this old kernel, perhaps it works properly in the Proxmox v4.0 kernel.

However, I was wondering when we might see Open vSwitch v2.4 support which added support for Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol, and is stated to have been extensively tested. I'd be more confident in that working.

Thanks!

According to announcements NAT should also be part of the 2.5 LTS. Does not seem to be there yet. Anybody knows if this has been postponed to a later release or if it will be added in a point release later?

Thanks for the report, I didn't see it.

I'm going to test it next week.

Curious to see if Open vSwitch 2.5 testing went ok. I don't see it in the pvetest repo yet, so perhaps it didn't go so well.

Thanks!
