Hello! I have discovered that if I add/move an NVME drive in my host, my Proxmox installation won't boot. Here are the drives I have:
A. USB 500gb SSD (Proxmox install #1)
B. USB 32GB Flash Drive (Proxmox Install #2)
C. 1TB NVME Drive (Storage #1)
D. 2TB NVME Drive (Storage #2)
I originally had drives A and C in my system. It worked well. I then decided to add drive D to that my system included A, C, and D. This prevented my system from booting. I then unplugged and put disk A aside, and installed Proxmox on drive B. My system now had Drives B, C, and D, and it worked well.
I did the above to try and troubleshoot a different issue (gpu passthrough). As GPU passthrough wasn't working, I decided to remove drive D, to now have B and C. At this point, my computer wouldn't boot.
Sorry if that was confusing. Is there a proper way to add an NVME drive to a proxmox host?
Thank you for considering!
