Hello everybody,

I just updated from 5.2.1 to 5.2.2 and now noVNC doesn't work anymore.
I just get a red hint text with an error message.
Anyone have any idea what might be the cause?

xterm.js works on the note

Okay, after a little searching, I found the error.
It's not the VE but the browser in this case Chrome.
I should remember to empty the cache too!
After that everything worked as usual again

Ran into the issue this morning.. just so happen to update proxmox yesterday evening, so I immediately thought there was a connection. I been using proxmox since ~2010, and I have never encountered this before.

I'm having this problem in chrome as well. I've deleted the cookies attached to that domain but it doesn't fix the problem. How can I solve this for chrome without nuking all my settings for everything which would be extraordinarily inconvenient. Yes I can use incognito mode but is that really the official solution to something Proxmox themselves created just because some of us can't nuke our browsers due to their error?

just clearing the cache does not destroy any settings, you can clear the cache of a site with ctrl+f5 in chrome

I just upgraded to 5.2-3 and am having the same issue now, what is the best fix for it? Using Chrome.

UPDATE: Okay, Ctrl + F5 in the noVNC window works, I was trying it on the Proxmox window and deleting cookies on that with no luck. So working now!

Hi,

We are at the Version 5.2-10 atm.
Every Browser except Internet Explorer is working.
IE:
Version:11.0.9600.17501
Updateversion:11.0.15

This Feature is quiet important for us because we use a few Ubuntu machines with Internet Connection.
I Couldn't find a different way than this to provide gui Access to a ubuntu VM and browse via a different Network Connection.

Chrome and Firefox are working without any Action after the Proxmox upgrade.
I made a whole IE reset but it won't work.

ie 11 is not supported anymore in novnc

Sad to hear :(
Any other suggestions to solve this Problem ?
Installing the Spice Client is sadly not possible. (limited User rights for my Clients)
Is it possible to connect to a Ubuntu/Debian VM via Networkcard 1 but browse via a second one ?

Best regards Tobias
