Non-HA cluster config

I'm running a multi-node Proxmox-based playground for software testing and security analysis.
And looking for a way to create a single management UI for up to 5 Proxmox nodes.
Ideally having access to this management UI via a reverse proxy; part of which runs via Cloudflare.

This means that:
(1) - I'm not using the HA options and/or shifting workloads from one to the other.
(2) - nodes may or may not be available - depending what type of work I'm doing and from which location.
(3) - each node has their own dedicated storage
(4) - backups, sharing VM's and containers all runs via the respective SMB-shares on some NAS.

I found some bits-and-peaces about creating a cluster for this purpose.
But nothing specific on the reverse proxy part and what happens if cluster-nodes come and go.

Any suggestion(s) where to start reading?
In addition: feel free to comment on the above approach - really appreciated!

a cluster requires quorum (more than half of the nodes online at all times) and a stable, low-latency link, so it might not be a good fit for your use case.. we are working on a frontend/web interface that allows viewing and managing multiple clusters (or standalone nodes), but no ETA on that (yet). so for the time being, your probably best off with accessing each node on its own (with or without a reverse proxy in front).

https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Web_Interface_Via_Nginx_Proxy might be a good starting point (but other reverse proxy solutions should also work - keep in mind that if you want to use the console/shell parts of the UI, you need websocket support as well!)
