No View of IP Addresses in VE 8?

As a test - I did a fresh install and put the network cable into one of the ports on the 4-port card. It got a completely new IP Address, as there is no DHCP reservation for it. The IP was only IPv6 and a Link-Local 'fe80:xxxx' address.

So it is definitely something WITHIN PROXMOX doing this. It is not DEBIAN, as a DEBIAN install pulls both addresses. :mad:
 
I checked our bug tracker and I also found the scenario you described.
You are welcome to follow the status as we are hopefully investigating the behavior soon.
