Hi there!

Me and my friend have a HP ProLiant server running with ProxMox. We've installed Windows Server as a VM. The installation with drivers was succesful.

Except the internet part. We have 1 main IP in the data center and we want to add a virtual IP to the VM so people can host on our server like a website or gameserver.

We've watched many video's and tutorials but still it won't work.

So our question is: How can we connect our Windows Server VM to the internet?

Thanks in advance!

Ok i give a exsample of static ip configuration

Step 2 Select Change adapter settings in the left pane.
Step 3 Locate your adapter (either wired or wireless), right-click it, and select Properties from the menu that opens.
Step 4 Locate your adapter (either wired or wireless), right-click it, and select Properties from the menu that opens.

Step 5 The Local Area Connection Properties dialog box will open. Select the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties. The Properties dialog box will open for Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties. Select the Use the following IP address: option. Then fill out the three fields with the following information, which you found in the Command promptabove: IPv4 Address Subnet Mask Default Gateway Select the Use the following DNS server addresses option. Enter the DNS Servers values (provided by your ISP/Company) from the Command promptabove. You may also wish to use the public DNS addresses provided by Googleor OpenDNS.
