NIC Bonding to increase bandwidth

Which Bonding type should i use if i want to bond two Intel Pro 1 Gigabit NIC to act as one to double the bandwidth?

if you switch supports it, try 802.3ad - best option in a lot of situations.

but note, a connection is never faster than one nic here.
