Hi!
I installed a debian-machine to work as a NFS-Share for my Proxmox VE Backups.
However i don't want the machine to be online 24/7, so i configured the computer to turn on right before the backup (Wakeup in BIOS) and off just after it (cronjob).
Unfortunately i have some problems with the proxmox-GUI when the NFS-storage is not availlable.
Whenever i klick on "storage" in the gui, the Web-GUI will freeze. Besides the backups are not always working (though sometimes they do)

This is what i have in my /etc/pve/storage.cfg:

nfs: Backup_auf_Backupserver
path /mnt/pve/backup_on_backupserver
server 192.168.13.4
export /export/backups
content backup

Any idea what the problem could be or how i could better things?

Thank you very much
Sascha

a nfs server has to be available, you will get multiple issues if you poweroff this box. so if you cannot live a 24/7 nfs, you need to look for another way.
