[SOLVED] NFS issue

Hi.

I have installed a new Proxmox server and I am trying to do a NFS mount towards Synology NAS.
This failed with an error - please see attached screenshot.
I have tried to mount the same share from another machine without error.

Hope someone can help.

The first step is to check your Synology NFS configuration page and note if there are any restrictions placed on the NFS export in question.
You can also run "showmount -e nfs_ip"

root@prox01:/etc/apt# showmount -e 192.168.77.22
Export list for 192.168.77.22:
/volume1/OHBackup 192.168.26.0/24,192.168.77.0/24
/volume1/NFS      192.168.26.0/24,192.168.77.60/32
root@prox01:/etc/apt#

Both the Proxmox-server and the server I am using for test are coming from 192.168.26.0/24.
The Proxmox-server is giving me the error and the test-server is working.

mount the storage from the "good" server and run "showmount -a IP"

I found out that the problem was NAT in combination with NFS.
When I sorted out the issue with NAT the NFS started working.
